A UNIQUE LOCATION IN MERIBEL
Located on the slopes of the Saulire, below the Col de la Loze, Chalet du Plaigny is at an altitude of 1,600 m. In the heart of its open, south-facing clearing, the site offers a breathtaking panorama of the Tougnettes slope.
Exceptional snow conditions throughout the winter guarantee ski-in/ski-out access from December to April.
Access to the chalet
In summer, the chalet can be reached via the forest track leading down from the Altiport road, which is also accessible with a conventional vehicle.
In winter, the nearest parking lot is at the Blanchot restaurant, at the end of the altiport runway. The chalet, 100 m below, is reached via the well-maintained, signposted footpath.
When you arrive and depart in winter, we take care of transferring all your luggage from the parking lot to the chalet with a tracked vehicle.
Ski from the “Lapin” ski run to the cross-country ski area at the Blanchot restaurant, then to the chalet via a wide, gently sloping meadow.
To leave the chalet, simply cross the plateau to find the blue “Lapin” trail that runs down to Méribel Village.
How to get to the station
Numerous hiking trails surround the chalet in winter and summer alike.
Méribel village is a 20-minute walk with a 200 m ascent. There’s a lively bar-restaurant open all year round, a bakery, a small supermarket, an equipment rental store and a lift pass office.
Méribel Altiport is just 5 minutes from the blanchot parking lot, with a partner equipment rental store.
Méribel center can be reached in 30 minutes on foot via chemin de Morel.
The Méribus shuttle provides a free permanent service from the resort center to the altiport or Méribel Village.
